Red Road Demolition Images

A sequence of photographs of the demolition of the tower block at Petershill Drive in Glasgow on 10th June 2012. A dominant feature of the North Glasgow skyline since the 1960s the Red Road flats were once the tallest residential structures in Europe. This was the first of these towers scheduled for demolition. The tower block was brought down at approximately 1 p.m.

The full sequence of images records the blow-down and subsequent dispersal of the dust cloud.
