Glasgow Science Centre Tower

The landmark observation tower at Glasgow Science Centre on the south bank of the River Clyde in Glasgow, Scotland. At 127m this is the tallest structure in the world capable of rotating 360 degrees on its base and currently the tallest free-standing structure in Scotland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glasgow_Tower). There is an observation deck at the top of the tower however it has been closed for most of the time since it was completed due to technical flaws.

Photograph taken in April 2008. Available to purchase as a photographic or giclee print or stock image from Dunmaglas Photography.
