Supreme Nature 52 – Week 25

Autumnal trees in the Necropolis

This week’s image shows autumnal foliage on the trees at the edge of the necropolis alongside Wishart Street behind the Royal Infirmary in Glasgow, Scotland.  A brief sunny spell followed a heavy rain shower on this cold autumn evening, bringing out the colour of the turning leaves. A feint rainbow, which I did not notice at the time, can be seen just above the infirmary buildings. Alas the dry spell did not last very long and torrential rain forced me to abandon shooting.
