What with curating the images galleries, restructuring the website, putting my shiny new Nikon D7000 to the test and of course the Christmas period, the new images blog posts have become somewhat neglected as of late so I have a bit of catching up to do.
This series of images, from October 2013, is of the high rise flats at Royston near Townhead in Glasgow. The tower block on the left in these images has recently been demolished, the windows having already been removed as seen in the photographs. Also recently demolished was the smaller block of flats to the right in some of the images – it can be seen that its windows and cladding have also been stripped. I am not certain yet whether the remain block is also to be demolished or if it will be renovated. Coincidentally this was also the last shoot with my faithful old Nikon D40 which, although not out to pasture yet, was certainly due for semi-retirement.
